AustLII - Changing the nature of public access to law
(...and the changing nature of public access to law...)
This paper is based around two permutations of its title: the
contributions that AustLII (the Australasian Legal Information Institute
(AustLII) has made and is seeking to make to change the nature of public access
to law in Australia; and the ways in which the nature of public access to law
is itself changing and how AustLII is adapting to this changed environment.
The second part of the paper looks at public access to law world-wide,
and how AustLII is building a new approach to finding legal information across
the `world law library on the internet'.
